Today, these men are being replaced by traitors to the cause of freedom. Our forefathers clearly expressed their position in the Declaration of Independence when they said: “And for the support of this declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, and Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” When the U.S. Supreme Court building was constructed with Moses and the Ten Commandments given the most prominent position, it was with the full blessing of Congress and the American people.

The Pulpit is Responsible!
We need a renewed hunger for God’s will in our lives. The need for courageous and persevering leadership is needed more today than ever before. We live in a world of global challenges and seeming uncertainties. The faith of many has been shaken, causing disillusionments, disappointments and discouragements. Their vision of hope and faith is blurred so they are distracted from God’s intended destination (destiny) for their lives. WE NEED VOICES OF TRUTH with a timely and critical message that reminds us of the proper foundations and order of faith, as well as equips us to fight the good fight of faith. We have plenty of preachers and politicians who are oratorically gifted, yet many lack the character and substance to go with it. We are not in need of more opinions and ideas by theorists, but those who will lead us in the paths of truth and great expectations that only comes from a hope beyond ourselves.

Acquiring A Divine Perspective
Let us view from a different vantage point. Let us hear from His voice. Let us gather a perspective so solidifying it becomes the foundation for our fellowship. May we spend time in the secret place of the Most High. May we view things as He does and call forth those things that reflect His will. May we never stop repeating, “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” May we climb the Mountain of God and stay there until we hear, “You have dwelled long enough in this mountain.” Then let us burst onto this holocaust of hell (called modern society) while marching around their walled Jerichos and watch their walls fall.

Condemn Not! You May Be the One That’s Wrong!
All of us should examine ourselves to be sure that we are “in the faith” (2 Cor. 13:5) and all of us should be diligent to “confirm [our] calling and election” (2 Pet. 1:10), and this does mean falling into performance-based religious exercises but rather living out our calling to be God’s children (see 2 Pet. 1:3-11; this is our response to what God has graciously done for us). At the same time, we need to be very careful about setting ourselves up as the ultimate judge of who is saved and who is lost–meaning, among those who claim to be followers of the Jesus of the Scriptures.
