A Voice from the Past Warns Us to Take a Stand

A Voice from the Past Warns Us to Take a Stand

Leftist politicians, militant unions, news and entertainment media have united to create an America that will remove Christian civilization as we know it. If drastic action is not taken immediately, the despotic control of that they have seized in the information industry will soon give them an immense, continuous and increasing power over everything we hear, see and say.

Newt Gingrich Plan for Republican Party Reformation

Newt Gingrich Plan for Republican Party Reformation

This post contains Newt Gingrich’s white paper delineating changes needed to reform the Republican Party post-2012 election.

Subject: Memo: The Challenge Confronting the Republican Party
Dear Friend,

I wanted to share with you the following memo which I have written at the request of Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, and which he has distributed to RNC members this afternoon.

This is the beginning of a four to six month project considering what the Republican Party must do to become competitive in all 50 states.

Open Letter to House, Senate Republicans by Conservative Leaders

Open Letter to House, Senate Republicans by Conservative Leaders

Dear Republican U.S. Representatives and Senators:

You are entering into a period of testing.

In the House, the nation elected in 2012 one of the largest Republican majorities in the past 100 years.  You have a mandate to fight for conservative principles that is arguably much broader than the one that narrowly reelected President Barack Obama claims to have for his leftist agenda.

Of course, House Republicans alone cannot pass a law, but united you can stop any bill which violates the principles you publicly committed to support.

I’m Dreaming of A RIGHT Christmas

I’m Dreaming of A RIGHT Christmas

A pastor worked in his study all through Christmas Eve preparing for the Christmas morning service. Being very tired he dozed off and dreamt of a world to which the Savior had never come. In his dream he was looking around his home but there were no Christmas decorations, no candles or Christmas wreaths. He walked into his study and thumbed through his library but found no books about Jesus, and the Bible he found ended at Malachi. He noticed that the last words of the Bible were: “Lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

WARNING: The Spiritual Avalanche That Could Kill Millions

WARNING: The Spiritual Avalanche That Could Kill Millions

By Evangelist Steve Hill This is coming to you from a man who has just passed through the valley of the shadow of death. Since my close call with eternity just a short while ago… everything has become clearer. I can hear His whisper. Unabated obedience has become my mandate. That is why I’m writing this word from the Lord. A few days ago, after enjoying quality time with Jesus, I was surprised by an alarming vision. I saw a massive, majestic mountain covered in glistening snow. It reminded me of the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps. Its peaks were sparkling white and I was amazed by God’s attention to detail. It was so realistic I wanted to go skiing! But I sensed that there was more that the Holy Spirit was about to reveal. As I closed my eyes, I was …Read Article

24 Keys of the Kingdom

24 Keys of the Kingdom

For several decades, I’ve received, on a daily basis, letters and emails from younger and developing ministers in foreign lands giving their lives to Jesus to be used as conduits of his power and blessings, to evangelize the native peoples of their country, and to be instruments to build the Church Jesus is building, in their nation. When you receive so many heart-wrenching emails and letters, desperately requesting assistance of one sort or another, it’s easy after many years to become somewhat numb to these desperate cries for help, especially when you just don’t have material resources to help them in that way and all you really have to offer them in addition to prayer for them and their needs is an invitation to visit a website to read some articles you hope will render at least some small amount of …Read Article

Powers of the Age to Come

Powers of the Age to Come

For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, (Heb. 6:4-5) Stephen, ‘Being full of the Holy Spirit, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God, and said, ‘Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!’” Acts 7:55-56 Dr. Eben Alexander1, neurosurgeon, faculty member at Harvard Medical School and a graduate of that University, contracted a vicious E-coli bacteria that plunged him into a seven-day coma. During that time the neocortex of his brain was shut-down. Mentally, he was dead. The medical team had no hope …Read Article

Divorce May Be The Only Answer

Divorce May Be The Only Answer

The Republican Party, from its inception in 1856, has stood for conservative pro-family and pro-Constitutional values. Those values are what first drew me to the Republican Party and they are what have led me to be engaged in my unwavering support of same. I have opposed those Republicans who support abortion, homosexual marriage, expanded government, increased spending and other political positions that others and I argue are antithetical to what our Party has long stood for. But the Republican Party we have supported and fought for is no longer the same. We have elected candidates who have behaved – and supported policies – more in line with Democrats than those standards we expect from true Conservatives. And, specific to that point, we have paid dearly as a nation for it. Thanks for reading this article! If you enjoy the spiritually …Read Article

The Necessary Death and Resurrection of Israel

The Necessary Death and Resurrection of Israel

Gleanings from Ezekiel Chapter 37 As with the prophetic “son of man” of this dread and glorious chapter, so also are we, the “prophetic” people of God, required to be set down in the midst of a valley full of dry bones (See verses 1-2). Here one is required to dismiss all wishful thinking of things as we would like them to be, and to consider them rather as they in fact are, which is to say as God Himself sees them—indeed, as they must be seen—or we later forfeit any prophetic use by which these bones can be brought to life again. To be as God’s mouth, speaking the creative life-giving word, requires an identification with God that is total as against a begrudging condescension to a necessary obedience. From the opening first verses of this text we perceive …Read Article

These Are The Times That Try Men’s Souls

These Are The Times That Try Men’s Souls

These are the times that try men’s souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. At the time Thomas Paine wrote those words, it looked like we would lose the American Revolution and some people were walking away because times were getting tough. By saying “These are the times that try [or test] men’s souls,” he was saying, “This is how we’ll see what your spirit is really made of. Do you leave when things look bad, or do you have the courage to stand up for what you believe in?” Somehow these words seem apropos in this hour. Thanks for reading this article! Seven Reasons the Prophetic Voice of American Pastors Has Been Silent

Seven Reasons the Prophetic Voice of American Pastors Has Been Silent

As a pastor I have been involved in political, economic and social issues in order to be holistic in ministering to the needs of our community, as well as functioning prophetically to influential elected officials. In this context, I have observed how many leaders also involved in holistic ministry have “behaved themselves” in regards to speaking out prophetically on major biblical issues. My opinion is that we are all called to be prophetic—especially preachers of the gospel (1 Peter 4:11)!

Cessationism Refuted

Cessationism Refuted

My good friend, Charles Carrin, as a Baptist pastor for more than twenty-five years, was much like Apollos before Priscilla and Aquila “took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately” (Ac. 18:24-26). Like Apollos, he was “an eloquent man…and he was mighty in the Scriptures,” he “had been instructed in the way of the Lord” in Baptist schools, was “fervent in spirit,” and “was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus,” meaning the Gospel of Christ’s sacrifice. However, Charles, like Apollos and myriad other sincere and fervent traditional denominational ministers today, was “acquainted only with the baptism of John,” the original Baptist. An Open Letter To My Black Evangelical Friends

An Open Letter To My Black Evangelical Friends

By Dr. Michael Brown I am not writing this letter to accuse but rather to advance understanding. And even though I am white, I am not writing as an outsider but as a fellow evangelical, part of the same spiritual family. May I pose some candid questions? Are you guilty, on any level, of blind allegiance to the Democratic party? And, on Election Day, did any of you compromise your convictions out of racial solidarity? Thanks for reading this article! The Election Is Over, Not The War

The Election Is Over, Not The War

By Mychal Massie The election is over, the war is not, and we must understand that. It’s imperative we remain focused and energized. We must realize who our enemy is – what their end goal is and what they will do to accomplish same. There isn’t time for hand wringing, craziness, and/or loyalty to those responsible for the loss of this election. The next two years are critical. As a close friend and colleague wrote this morning, for the next two years we must, “Fire and fall back. Inflict maximum damage on the enemy, but fall back on prepared positions, and repeat this process until reinforcements arrive.” Which include Benghazi, Fast and Furious, ObamaCare, and the economy. Why Do Pastors, Churches, Ministries, Fail When The Holy Spirit Has All-Power?

Why Do Pastors, Churches, Ministries, Fail When The Holy Spirit Has All-Power?

By Charles Carrin All church failure is directly related to congregations detaching themselves theologically and experientially from the Kingdom of God. Apart from the Kingdom and the Holy Spirit’s empowering, churches, pastors, ministries, have no power. None. They may have great organizational skill, great advertising programs, and possess the best technological aid, but in New Testament terms these are not power. They are deceptive counterfeits. The next failure most churches make is to re-organize themselves into competitive, denominational groups that treat each other with suspicion and fear. Personal ministries frequently do the same thing. Jesus loved the church and gave Himself for it. So must we! But Jesus spoke of the church (ekklesia, Gr.) only three times in the gospels. In contrast, He spoke of His Kingdom some 130 times. Unlike modern Christianity, His focus was on the Kingdom. If …Read Article

So This Is The Thanks I Get?

So This Is The Thanks I Get?

People can be so picky, critical, and ungrateful. I know — I’ve served them for more decades than I’d like to think about, and bear the wounds in my psyche to prove it! You pour your heart out. You give unstintingly of your time and your energy and so often it goes unnoticed, unappreciated, or taken for granted. Even worse, you get picked at by some well-meaning — and some not-so-well-meaning — folk who feel that God has given them “the gift of criticism.” In truth they have the “gift of sandpapering the saints.” Thankfully this description doesn’t apply to ALL of God’s people! Barack Obama, A “Religious Pioneer” like MLK?

Barack Obama, A “Religious Pioneer” like MLK?

According to CNN writer John Blake, President Obama is “a religious pioneer” who, in the opinion of some scholars and pastors, is “also expanding the definition of who can be a Christian by challenging the religious right’s domination of the national stage.” To be candid, and with due respect to the office of the president, Obama should be viewed as a religious apostate more than a religious pioneer. He has shown an extraordinary disregard for society’s most innocent and vulnerable members (babies in the womb), he has misused the Bible to defend the radical redefinition of marriage, and he has trashed religious freedoms with his health care mandates to the point that groups as disparate as Hobby Lobby and Catholic hospitals are suing the government. This is hardly the legacy of a religious pioneer. Blake claimed in his article “Is …Read Article

Why Many Believers Vote Against Their Biblical Values

Why Many Believers Vote Against Their Biblical Values

By Dr. Joseph Mattera With the increased tension and polarity in the body of Christ because of the coming election, I am attempting with this paper to help bring clarity as to why people vote the way they do. My intent in wading through these murky waters is to help to bring greater unity in the church so that we are not dogmatically judging one another. But, at the same time my hope is that believers will vote biblical values over groupthink partisan politics. Many years ago, as a pastor and traveling teacher, I was shocked to find out that many of my dear pastor friends, as well as the majority of the ethnic congregations they oversee, voted for Democratic candidates, even if their platforms were contrary to standard biblical values in regards to issues like abortion and same-sex marriage. …Read Article
